About Jane Teresa Anderson

Jane Teresa Anderson BSc Hons has spent 34 years at the intersection of science and transformation, researching dreams and developing a methodology that has helped students and clients across the world understand their dreams and use them to change their lives.

She is the creator of dream alchemy: a practical, science-based process for using dream material to reprogram unconscious limiting beliefs, shift perspective, remove blocks, and create lasting, meaningful change. Dream alchemy is the heart of The Dream Academy, and the thread that runs through every course Jane Teresa teaches.

With an Honours degree in Zoology specialising in developmental neurobiology from the University of Glasgow, Jane Teresa’s approach to dreams has always been grounded in research and independent inquiry rather than mythology or generic symbolism. She has been consulting professionally as a dream analyst and dream therapist since 1992, and training students in dream therapy for more than two decades, first in person, then internationally, and since 2017 through The Dream Academy online.

She is the author of seven books on dreams and dreaming. She is published by Hachette, Little Brown, Random House, and HarperCollins, and is host of The Dream Show podcast, now in its 17th year with over 300 episodes. She is a frequent and accomplished media guest, with extensive television and radio experience across Australia and internationally, including more than 1,500 live radio Dream Talkback broadcasts.
