Hi, everyone,

I had this powerful dream last semester which starts like paradise and then becomes a real nightmare! In the dream, I am having a consultation with someone I admire tremendously in my real life, then out of the blue she becomes a kind of demon or monster, we are inside a closed office. This “thing” reminds me of the image of the Devil in the tarot. It seems like I don’t realize it, or it doesn’t affect me. The monster is competent, but I think he needs to relate what I say to my life. I mention this to him, but he proceeds the same way. At the end of the consultation, he is going to say goodbye and hug me, but he sucks the back of my neck instead, he was just pretending he would hug me. I get very disturbed and very embarrassed, but I don’t show it. I just cover my neck with my long hair and leave the place immediately, worried about what people – especially my husband – would think if he saw that mark on me.

I am already doing some alchemy, but my doubt is: how would you start the scene here?
I thought of seeing the monster and feeling something, this time. Like feeling disturbed and stating that there is something wrong going on. Then, at the time I acknowledge the situation, I feel relieved when it transforms into the person I like and trust once more. Instead of the bite that makes me feel ashamed, I imagined being gifted with a beautiful amber necklace I am proud of showing off and receiving a real hug this time. I created a bodywork alchemy to express this. However, I think it would be so perfect if the person didn’t transform herself into the monster. It would be a perfect dream! But I’m not sure the alchemy would be complete.

This is a very important dream to me! I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks a lot!…

Hi Cintia, I’m just beginning the dream alchemy course, so quite new to this. What’s coming to me is that the monster seems to have control over the direction of the constultation, I’m wondering how it would be if you had the ‘neck’ to take control over the direction i.e. not permitting the monster to proceed when it didn’t relate what you said to your life and also in deciding when and how the consultation would end?

Great idea! Yes, the thing is that I should have reacted! Last month I dreamed about somebody else I deeply admire, byt there was no transformation. The person was already a monster since the beginning this time. It seems like the alchemy was not enough, there is more work to be done. Ty! 🙂

I’m just wondering why you ‘should have’ reacted? Is that feeling of ‘should have’ a dream feeling or a real life feeling?

Hi! I forgot to come back here… It is a real life feeling. In the dream, it was like I hadn’t noticed the change, I didn’t react.
